'Buzz Lightyear Costume Is Waaaay Cool' Asserts 6 Year Old

The Buzz Lightyear Costume is basically an astronaut's suit. With a lot of hero-style gadgetry.

Naturally we don't have to worry about all that pesky hosing and supply-lining. So, like Buzz's suit, you get the main white armor and the gadgetized utility belt - a worthy development from Toy Story 1.

You also get the distinctive cockpit console on the chest, from which Buzz activates the different on-board systems like weapons, instruments, flight ..

Ah .. the flight mechanism. Punch the very obvious red button and juuuuuu! .. out come his wings, BOOM! The jet boosters come alive, and Buzz is away.

Like a real space suit, Buzz's gear protects him from vacuum, extreme heat and cold, extreme pressure, injury. You know the big clear globe over his head? Retractable helmet! How to activate it? Purple button. The one on the side of the chest armor.

There are various other bits and pieces in the suit.

But most important, or so my 6-year old impresses upon me, is the laser cannon. On the right upper arm of Buzz's suit sleeve. "Waaaaaay Coooool"!. Apparently.
